Are You Ready for ELD In December?

Are You Ready for ELD In December?
Evaluate and select ELDs. Coordinate with drivers, trucks, and shops to get them installed. Train administrative staff how to use and troubleshoot units. Train drivers how to annotate and edit RODS, certify RODS, and collect required supporting documents. Train drivers how to display and transfer data to safety officials upon request. Understand the consequences for failure in any of these areas.

Have you checked all the boxes? Completed all the training? We have been hearing for years that Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) are going to required for all trucks hauling shipments across this great land. Now that the federally mandated implementation date is around the corner this December, let’s check in and see what is entailed to make it happen. Join us for a unique and rich set of perspectives on the role of ELDs and how the trucking and broader supply chain community is adapting to them.

A panel discussion will be moderated by Brent Hudspeth, VP of Transportation Management at Transplace, and CSCMP DFW Board Advisor. Panelists include Aaron Highfill Supply Chain Manager at American Gypsum to give a shipper's perspective, Nate Baughman, Product Line Manager- DCC at Penske Logistics for the 3PL perspective, George Abernathy, Vice President of Transflo Solutions an ELD technology provider and Cori Eckley, Vice President at NATCO Transportation.
