Join the Central Florida Roundtable as we welcome J.W. Taylor of Taylor and Associates, accomplished transportation and logistics attorney at law as he shares with us areas where supply chain companies may have liability exposure and how to mitigate those risks.  A light breakfast with beverages will be served.


 J.W. Taylor is a business law / commercial litigation attorney focusing in the areas of transportation and logistics. He represents transportation and logistics companies in matters of claims litigation, including personal injury and ADR, cargo claims and contract disputes. In addition, Mr. Taylor represents these clients in corporate restructuring, insurance design, equipment financing and risk management matters. This practice includes restructuring corporate clients for compliance with Federal and State Regulations and statutes in order to meet underwriting requirements, as well as reducing risk exposure across the supply chain. He founded Taylor & Associates in February 2011, with offices in Winter Haven and Miami. 

Mr. Taylor holds an M.Ed (Masters in Education) and has taught Business Law and School Law as an adjunct professor at local colleges including Southeastern University (1999-2001), and Guest Lecturer at Polk Community College (2001), 2003 Council in Education Management (2003), University of South Florida (2003), 2004 Council in Education Management, and the 
Association of Corporate Counsel (2011). 

Mr. Taylor is a frequent guest speaker and has authored articles for both industry and legal publications, appearing before the ATA, ACC, National Partners Meeting, Advanced Truckers Seminar (AAMGA), HUB National Meeting, Transportation Law Institute, CIC Truckers II Seminar, Advanced Truckers Seminar, ACES Advanced Transportation Seminar, and many others.
