Blockchain, unlocking the mystery!

Blockchain is the newest trend within the Supply Chain industry.  Blockchain is mostly associated with bitcoin and “cyrptocurrency”, but it is much more!   In this session, Dr. Brian Fugate and Doctoral Candidate Marat Davletshin will discuss this innovative solution and how it is applies to Supply Chain transparency.   Attendees will gain a basic understanding of  the various applications of Blockchain technology.  In addition to great speakers, the Ozark Roundtable, hopes you will enjoy the network event and consider joining as a member or sponsoring future events.

Dr. Brian is Chair, Dept of SCM and Co-Editor-in-Chief for the Journal of Supply Chain Management.  His research focuses on advancing the scholarship and practice of strategic and global integration of demand and supply, knowledge flows and sustainability across the food supply chain.  His research has appeared in top supply chain journals and has been presented at academic conferences and industry practitioners. 

Marat Davletshin is a Doctoral Candidate at the Dept of SCM. His research interests include strategies and technologies enabling integration of supply networks. 

Paul Lothian works as Business Solutions Architect at Tyson Foods.
