CSCMP Committees are the backbone of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals. Each committee member serves as the voice of CSCMP membership. These volunteers not only represent different industries in the supply chain, they represent different locations from around the globe, ensuring that the every member’s voice is heard in the matters of CSCMP and the supply chain profession.
Board of DirectorsThe Board of Directors is comprised of four elected officers consisting of the Chair of the Board of Directors, Board Chair Elect, Board Vice Chair, and the Secretary/Treasurer, plus the Immediate Past Chair of the Board of Directors, the respective Chairs of each standing committee and the President/CEO who shall serve as an ex-officio member.
The responsibility of the Annual Conference Committee is to arrange a formal annual conference program covering all of the latest supply chain hot topics and trends.

The CSCMP Program Committee is responsible for the strategic development and delivery of CSCMP’s supply chain management educational concepts that enhance the value of membership and attracts interest of prospective members.

The Education Strategies Committee serves as the liaison with students, educators, and educational institutions and programs. The committee administers the processes for the Doctoral Dissertation Award, Doctoral Symposium, the George A. Gecowets Graduate Scholarship Program, and the Undergraduate Paper Competition.

The Finance Committee, along with the CSCMP management team, is responsible for creating an annual budget to be presented to the board at each December’s CSCMP Board of Directors Meeting. The Finance Committee has the responsibility to serve as an independent and objective party to monitor the financial reporting process and internal control system. The committee will oversee and monitor the audit efforts of the independent auditors and provide an open avenue of communication among the independent auditors, management, and the CSCMP Board of Directors.

The Information Technology Committee investigates, evaluates, and advises the Board of Directors on the need for and feasibility of, functional information systems that will enhance customer service and differentiated value to the membership.

The Membership Committee provides strategic direction supporting current and new membership benefits and services. The committee provides strategic input regarding identifying member needs and developing new markets and opportunities globally.

The Planning Committee coordinates the strategic planning and operational activities of the CSCMP Board of Directors. In addition, the committee develops a yearly business plan.

The Research Strategies Committee investigates, evaluates, and advises the CSCMP Board of Directors on the need for, and feasibility of, undertaking research projects that will benefit the supply chain management profession.

The Roundtable Advisory Committee monitors and assists the activities of individual CSCMP roundtables and the organization as a whole. The purpose of a CSCMP roundtable is to provide periodic career-building meetings, local educational opportunities, tours, programs, and/or discussion that will enhance the knowledge of the arts and science of supply chain management for local or regional members.
