About the Keynote Speaker
As Starbucks’ executive vice president of global supply chain operations, Peter Gibbons is responsible for all of the products that contribute to the Starbucks Experience, from the coffee in your cup to the cup itself—even the table it rests on—at every Starbucks store in the world. He has responsibility for the overall business management of Starbucks’ manufacturing, engineering, procurement, distribution, planning, transportation, inventory management, and worldwide coffee and tea sourcing. His background includes leading manufacturing and supply chain efforts throughout Europe, Latin America, and North America.

Dr. John Lund
Sr VP Supply Chain Management

Since 2006, Dr. John Lund has served as senior vice president, supply chain management, responsible for optimizing the performance of supply chains across Disney’s Parks and Resorts worldwide. He began his career with Disney in 1992 as transportation development manager for Euro Disney in France. By 1995, he was named director of telecommunications, transportation, and multimedia. Prior to joining Disney, he worked eight years at The RAND Corporation in Santa Monica, California, where he advised the US government on national security strategy, political-economic affairs, military force structure planning, and logistics.
