Take the MIT survey on supply chain risk management!
MIT is conducting a global survey of experiences with and attitudes toward supply chain risks and risk management. The survey is now underway in 12 countries.
Companies would like their supply chains to operate smoothly all day, every day. But disruptions occur. Events in your own shop and on the other side of the world can bring down your supply chain. We want to know if people in different regions and different cultures think about and manage risks differently.
The survey takes only 12 minutes to complete. It is the first part of a three-year study of global supply chain risk management.
- Phase 1 is a global survey on supply chain risk management experiences, attitudes, and practices with follow-up interviews.
- Phase 2 will be an in-depth set of case studies of real multinational supply chains to see how companies deal with "mismatches" in risk management attitudes and behaviors in global supply chains.
- Phase 3 will be a quantitative/modeling project to see how much more effective multinational companies can be with their global allocation of risk mitigation resources.
