HATCO is the only vertically integrated fur-felt American hat manufacturer in the United States and the DFW Roundtable is fortunate to have this iconic company in our backyard, Garland, TX. If you have ever seen a cowboy hat, you have seen a Hatco product. Their brands range from Resistol and Stetson (which just celebrated 150 years!), to Dobbs, Charlie 1 Horse, and Wrangler western hats.
For this first-of-its-kind facility tour, attendees are not simply following a guide and taking note of the environment, instead, each participant will be provided with an audit form and asked to provide constructive feedback to Hatco after the tour. CFO Duane Prentice put it this way, "Hatco is in a unique, older industry, and for the last three years we've been working to implement lean manufacturing and a supply chain for the 21st century... while embracing the legacy and history of our company and industry."
