Amazon, founded in 1995, has become a household name over the last decade and aims to be the "earth's most customer centric company". The Seattle based eTailor has a global presence that includes over 2.4 million square feet of warehouse space for their fulfillment operations.
The 1.25 million-square-foot center is the same size as roughly 28 football fields, where about 15 million items occupy space. Goods are processed through 8 miles of conveyance before getting shipped out to homes across the Southwest, country and world.
