State of Logistics in Kansas City
Please join CSCMP when we get an update on the State of Logistics in the Kansas City region. Our speakers will talk about the tremendous growth in industrial development, spec industrial construction, workforce opportunities and the growing impact of third party warehouse operations. The Kansas City region was second in industrial construction completions in 2016 topped only by Chicago. The KC region was one of 8 markets representing 71% of the national pipeline in industrial real estate. The 3PL market in the region is also seeing a lot of growth from eCommerce fulfillment needs to regional distribution. And the workforce in Kansas City is one of the most productive and skilled in the nation and new programs are being implemented to connect the workers to the growing industrial sector.
