The 520,000-sq.-ft. facility serves as a Midwest hub for Amazon, serving its “middle mile” operations by categorizing customer orders by final destination and consolidating them onto trucks for faster delivery. One of twelve Amazon facilities in the KC area, the Liberty sortation center currently processes about 250,000 customer packages a day and when the facility is at full operation, that number could double. Tour begins at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 29. Tour size is limited to 25 people so please register early. *Attire Requirements: To enter the site, attendees with long hair must have it tied above their shoulders.
