Event Overview:
Come join the CSCMP Chicago Roundtable at the fourth event of the Education Committee’s 2019/2020 lecture series. Our vision is to create opportunities for students to learn first-hand about supply chain from practitioners of leading edge technologies and supply chains.
On Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at Governors State University, T.J. Schaefer, Ph.D., Vice President, Carrier Strategy and Operations at project44, Inc., will present Digitalization of the Supply Chain. This interactive presentation will assess and explore how digitalization is being applied to the supply chain. Attendees can expect to learn about cutting edge supply chain technology and inhibitors to their successful usage. Finally, to facilitate collaboration and interaction, speed networking will be conducted to give everyone a chance to make new connections.
Speaker:
T.J. Schaefer, Ph.D. is a global executive in transportation and logistics, supply chain management, operations, platform technology, and supply management. Using this wide expertise range, T.J. has helped companies reduce supply chain costs and improve operations/processes. Besides his current role as Vice President Carrier Strategy and Operations at project44, he has also held supply chain roles across of a variety of industries and publicly listed, such as ABB Inc., and private companies, such as Ascend Performance Materials.
T.J. is a Board Member for the Chicago Roundtable of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) and has previously help Board membership in the Central Florida and St. Louis Roundtables. T.J. is also a contributor for the Institute of Supply Management (ISM) certification study material. project44 was born in Chicago, the logistics capital of the world and one of the fastest-growing tech hubs. project44 has created the world’s leading Advanced Visibility Platform™ for shippers and logistics service providers.
