CSCMP Cincinnati Roundtable Presents:
State of Logistics and the Economic Forecast
Thursday, November 14, 2019
Join the CSCMP Cincinnati Roundtable for an exclusive briefing on the state of logistics and what it means for the economy. At this event, A.T. Kearney, the Federal Reserve and CSCMP will join forces to discuss emerging supply chain trends and explore the broader impact. You will not want to miss this event.
A.T. Kearney, the author of CSCMP’s Annual State of Logistics Report, will share the findings of this year’s report, titled, “Cresting the Hill.” This year’s report identifies an industry at a new crossroads after toughing out the steep grade of last year’s constrained capacity and rising prices. This year demand has softened, and growth is in doubt, but not to the point where a steep decline is visible, a context that will be summarized in this session.
The Federal Reserve will share their economic forecasts and perspective on what’s happening in the supply chain. The discussion will include the Federal Reserve’s plans for leveraging information from organizations such as CSCMP and TTLC to inform their actions and adjustments.
Moderated by James Biro, VP of Supply Chain for Perfetti Van Melle, this session will provide an interactive dialog. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and weigh in on the issues that impact our businesses the most.
