Join us as BiTA (Blockchain in Transportation Alliance) host a presentation about its role in working towards a standard framework for blockchain in the transportation marketplace.
The presentation will focus on “Digitization of Freight and Transport”.
Patrick Duffy - President of Blockchain in Transport Alliance (BiTA) will be leading the presentation. Patrick will discuss BiTA’s efforts to unlock value between stakeholders across supply chain and transportation sectors through the creation of data standards that drive interoperability within our communities. Founded in August 2017, BiTA has quickly grown into the largest commercial blockchain alliance in the world, with nearly 500 members in over 25 countries that collectively generate over $1 trillion in revenue annually.
Joining BiTA on the speaker panel will be Harsh Harshvardhan and Suniel Mahamuni.
Harsh Harshvardhan- is a Supply Chain R&D Specialist at a retail brand (Ahold Delhaize), and leads their Blockchain initiatives. In his presentation, Harsh will give an overview of the ocean shipping industry with assessing the use cases and possibilities for Blockchain applications.
Suniel Mahamuni-is a Blockchain Solutions Architect at IBM and is an adjunct faculty member at Northeastern University. His presentation will be focused on how Blockchain technologies has successfully applied in real-world global supply chains.
