Treat your senses in a world of frozen delights as we invite you to join the Baltimore CSCMP on an exclusive tour of the Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream factory located in nearby Laurel, MD Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream, Inc. (DGIC) is a US ice cream company owned by the international fast growth ice cream company, Froneri. The Laurel Factory has 16 production lines and operates 24/7 to produce over 200,000 pallets of finished goods per year. The Factory has been in operation since 1962 and was expanded and remodeled over the years to be in excess of 700,000 sq feet today. There are currently over 800 employees, producing six different types of products in all different flavors for consumers to enjoy. During the tour you will witness the magic of ice cream production at this state-of-the-art DGIC facility. This tour will provide insight into the production process from start to finish. Join us immediately after the tour for networking at Jailbreak Brewing Company located less than a mile from the tour location. There will be heavy appetizers and a drink coupon on behalf of the RT.
