SCPro™ Level One: Cornerstones of Supply Chain Management

SCPro™ Level One is the only industry certification that covers the comprehensive supply chain, from end-to-end, and requires candidates to demonstrate their knowledge of the eight Cornerstones of Supply Chain Management via a multiple-choice exam. 

Professionals with an SCPro™ Level One designation demonstrate a solid foundation of knowledge in all the functions of supply chain management. Achieving SCPro™ Certification distinguishes candidates from their peers as supply chain experts with the breadth of knowledge to positively impact an organization.  This introductory designation also demonstrates a clear commitment to growing one's supply chain expertise.  

Eligibility Requirements

To sit for the SCPro™ Level One exam, candidates must fully meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Baccalaureate degree or higher from an accredited four-year university or college OR 
  • Four years of relevant supply chain management experience (e.g., procurement, planning and scheduling, manufacturing and service operations, logistics, inventory, warehousing, and supply chain management).

If you feel that you meet either of the above requirements, proceed in filling out an application for eligibility and pay the application fee listed below.  The fee for the application is waived for CSCMP members.  Non-members will pay a fee of $50.

There are 20 questions for each of the eight content areas (i.e., Learning Blocks) below with a focus on topics such as concepts, processes, strategies, technology, global, and assessment:

  • Integrated Supply Chain Management

  • Manufacturing and Service Operations
  • Transportation
  • Inventory Management
  • Warehousing
  • Order Fulfillment and Customer Service

  • Administered online during approved and proctored test windows.

  • Comprised of 160 multiple-choice questions; 20 questions on each of the eight cornerstones.
  • There is one best answer per question and questions are not weighted.
  • Four hours are allowed to complete the test; 15 additional minutes for administrative matters.
  • Candidates are provided with a formula sheet and can use a piece of paper, writing utensil, and a calculator during the exam.
  • Eligible candidates who receive a passing score are awarded their certificate 3-5 business days after the date of the test.
  • There is one best answer per question and questions are not weighted.
  • Once exams are submitted, results are reviewed by CSCMP.  Candidates will be informed 2-3 business days after the exam of the results.
  • Candidates will only be told of a pass or fail status.  No scores will be shared.
