📋 Eligibility

What are the eligibility requirements for each SCPro™ Certification?

  • SCPro™ Level One: A four-year degree (or higher) OR four years of relevant supply chain management experience.
  • SCPro™ Bridge Exam: A four-year degree OR a credential/advanced degree in supply chain/logistics AND four years of relevant experience.
  • SCPro™ Level Two: Must hold SCPro™ Level One certification AND either:
    • A bachelor's degree + 3 years of experience, OR
    • 7+ years of relevant supply chain experience

Can I skip ahead to Level Two based on experience?
No. SCPro™ is a tiered program. All candidates must complete Level One before progressing to Level Two.

Is there a cost to apply for eligibility?
Level One does not require an application. Bridge and Level Two require a $50 non-refundable eligibility application fee.


📚 Preparing for the Exam

How should I prepare for SCPro™ exams?
Preparation is self-paced. Estimated time depends on your experience and familiarity with supply chain concepts.

  • Level One: Estimated 40–60 hours
  • Level Two: Study time varies; candidates review the eBook modules and a practice case study

Are instructor-led study options available?
Yes! CSCMP offers instructor-led virtual study sessions in the summer (July) and fall. Contact [email protected] for details.

How do I get my study materials (eBook)?
You’ll receive access via email within 3–5 business days of purchase.

How long do I have access to study materials?

  • Level One: 12 months
  • Level Two: 180 days

🖥️ Taking the Exam

How do I take my SCPro™ exam?
All exams are delivered online via Questionmark using remote proctoring.

Can I take my exam at a testing center?
Yes, students affiliated with a university may request an in-person proctored setup.

What is the format and time limit?

  • Level One: 160 multiple-choice questions, 4-hour limit
  • Bridge Exam: 60 multiple-choice questions, 90-minute limit
  • Level Two: Case study + 500–1,000-word written response, 4-hour limit

What score do I need to pass?

  • Level One & Bridge: 65% or higher
  • Level Two: Graded by two independent supply chain experts

Can I take breaks during the exam?
Yes, but the timer continues running during breaks.

Can I bring anything into the exam?
Level One (includes Bridge) and Level Two allow a calculator, blank paper, and a writing utensil. A formula sheet is embedded in the Level One exam.

Can I access the formula sheet before the exam?
No, it will only be available inside the exam portal.


🔁 Retakes & Rescheduling

How do retakes work?

  • Level One : $150 retake feemax 3 attempts per year
  • Bridge Exam: No retakes allowed; will need to purchase Level One
  • Level Two: $300 retake fee; 30-day wait between attempts; max 3 attempts per year

Can I reschedule my exam?
Yes. You will need to pay a $150 administrative fee

What if I miss the exam deadline (180 days for Level Two or 1 year for Level One)?
If you are within 60 days of the deadline, you may pay a $200 extension fee to regain access. After 60 days, the exam must be repurchased.


🏁 After the Exam

When will I receive my results and certificate?

  • Level One: 5–7 business days after completion
  • Level Two: 4–6 weeks for grading and certification

🔄 Renewing Your Certification

How often do I need to renew?
Every two years from your certification date (applies to Level One, Bridge, and Level Two).

What is required to renew?
Complete 25 CEUs within the 2-year renewal period and submit a renewal fee.

What counts as a CEU?
Eligible activities include continuing education, speaking, writing, volunteering, and more. See full list on the Renewal Requirements page →

My certification expired more than a year ago. How can I reinstate it?

If your SCPro™ Certification has lapsed for more than 60 days, you can reinstate your credential without retaking the exam by paying the reinstatement fee and submitting proof of 25 CEUs earned between 2023 and 2025. The current reinstatement fee is $500. You can pay the reinstatement fee here.
