CSCMP Mentorship Program

CSCMP is excited to relaunch our mentorship program offering a new and improved platform and participant experience. Here are just a few of the new features we will launch for the Spring 2022 Program:

  • Innovative, user-friendly mentoring software & platform – with an app! 
  • Ability to be both mentor & mentee (a highly requested feature!) 
  • Suggested Matching – mentees pick top 3 mentor choices (CSCMP admin will assign partnerships based on algorithm results) 
  • Visual personality survey for more accurate matching 
  • Development Timeline, Goals & Milestones (set goals and track your progress)
  • Streamlined & shorter enrollment timeframe 
Here are the stages of the mentorship program:

Enrollment Period & Mentor Profile Creation
The enrollment period will run from March 21, 2022, and close on April 18, 2022, at 11:59 pm CDT. During this time, qualifying mentors will be invited to create a profile in our newly improved mentorship platform.

Mandatory Orientation
On April 19, 2022, at 1 pm CDT we will hold an orientation webinar – CSCMP will send you a formal invitation if you are a qualifying* applicant. We will send out the recording of this webinar in case you cannot attend. Note that this is mandatory viewing if you cannot attend during the live event.

Mentee Profile Creation & Matching
The third stage of the Mentorship Program will run from April 20-27, 2022. During this time, mentees will create online profiles and will have the ability to choose up to 3 mentors they'd like to be paired with.

Mentoring Begins
The final stage will begin the week of May 2, 2022, and this is when CSCMP admin will review mentees' picks for mentors and assign partnerships. The mentoring partnerships will last five months and conclude at the end of September 2022.

Developed by CSCMP's Young Professionals Committee, our Mentorship Program is designed to foster knowledge and connection through learning partnerships. The goal of the CSCMP Mentorship Program is to help you progress in your supply chain career development by providing the opportunity to become involved in a valuable mentoring partnership. 

What is a mentoring partnership?

A mentoring partnership connects two individuals with the shared goal of personal and professional development.

Mentoring partnerships facilitate the sharing of information, knowledge and experience. Mentoring dynamics also foster learning with and from one another, receiving and giving career advice and collaborating to generate new innovative ideas.
