Melanie Jenkins, Managing Director for JMA Placement, Inc., has over twenty years’ experience in the staffing industry. Melanie started her career as a recruiter, and was quickly promoted to an on-site manager, managing up to 500 employees within the first year of her staffing career. Melanie gives credit to this experience as her foundation, for what has turned out to be a long-standing career in partnership development. Over the years, Melanie has managed clients from a local and national bandwidth, with billings over $50 million dollars and multiple locations. Melanie is a subject matter expert in payroll, on-site implementation, strategic account development and recruitment processing.


John Allan, President of JMA Placement, Inc. Senior executive and business leader with extensive experience in corporate development areas including general management of mid to large size organizations, generating and managing change, business development, sales and marketing, product development, business operations, and strategy. Successfully managed 26 staffing branches across the country with over $50 million in revenue while working directly with company owner on overall direction of the company, including financial responsibilities and budget, sales and marketing, recruiting, workers comp, salary and incentive programs, process restructuring and strategy development.


Carlos Valdez, Risk Control Manager, has over twenty years’ experience in the staffing industry. While he has experience as a Recruiter, Salesperson and Manager within the staffing field, it was his passion for safety, attention to detail, focus on finding the right talent and partnering with clients on safety initiatives, which made move into Risk Management an easy transition. As JMA Placement’s Risk Manager, Carlos works with employees and clients to closely manage worker’s comp claims and mitigate loss. He keeps in close communication with all care providers to expedite quality and ensure appropriate treatment. Conducts industrial incident and injury investigations to determine root cause of event and forms partnerships with client company safety departments to generate a remedial action report to help prevent similar occurrences. In addition, he keeps all OSHA logs and compliance documentation up to date and available, as well as, assists our legal team in various matters of depositions and trials and provides witness testimony regarding both the incident investigation as well as agency incident protocol. Lastly, he is OSHA 10 & 30 hour trainer, OSHA forklift trainer “Train the Trainer” and currently attending "CWCP" Certified Workers Compensation Professional.


Jonathan King, President & CEO of Lean Leaders. Jonathan served 9 years in the US Navy, as a nuclear operator and the past twelve years in Supply Chain Executive. A Six Sigma Senior executive and business leader in the Logistics and Distribution arena, focused on continuous and process improvement. While at Menlo Worldwide, he served as Operations Manager, Global Inventory Manager and Senior Program Manager for over six years for companies, such as, Ford, Cisco and Google. He spent over two years at Malin, a Toyota Material Handling Group Company as the Supply Chain and Operations Executive, before taking his expertise into the consulting field, where he currently supports companies across the United States, on creating and supporting strategic solutions and driving efficiencies within their organization.
