11:30 AM - 1:30 PM Eastern Standard Time
Join the CSCMP’s Cincinnati Roundtable for lunch and a tour of Festo Didactic Midwest’s Apprenticeship Program, addressing the current skills gap in advanced manufacturing. While manufacturers in the region confront an under-qualified workforce, 375,000 jobs will go unfulfilled, costing companies’ annual earnings due to downtime, overtime, and increased cycle times. Apprenticeship programs can help solve this problem by developing the workforce you need for efficient production. Festo Didactic is the world-leading provider of equipment and solutions for technical education, and its program, MAP2, is designed to help individuals learn advanced manufacturing skills as well as earn an associate degree in mechatronics. Led by Andreas Brockmann, Festo Didactics’ Head of Technical Training & Education, U.S.

Attendees will learn:
• How apprentices and/or participants who take our public classes will gain hands-on training
• How employers can build a workforce together. They will see competition as more of an ally to solve problems together.
• How employers can invest in their workforce through the apprentice program.
