Speaker:  David Correll, PhD, Research Scientist, MIT State of Supply Chain Sustainability The State of Supply Chain Sustainability report, published by the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) and the MIT Center for Transportation & Logistics (MIT CTL), reveals that the pressure on firms to enhance supply chain sustainability continues to intensify.  The report, now in its fourth year, highlights the evolving landscape of supply chain sustainability practices worldwide and examines the challenges and progress made over a four-year period.  Dr. Correll will share the results of the 2023 Supply Chain Sustainability study recently released at CSCMP’s EDGE conference.  In this session, you will learn how sustainability is evolving in organizations and the role of supply chain professionals.  You can also expect to better understand current and future SC sustainability practices across diverse industries, geographies, and cultures.  David Correll, PhD, is a Lecturer and Research Scientist at the MIT Center for Transportation and Logistics, where he also serves as Co-Director of the MIT FreightLab and Project Lead for the annual State of Supply Chain Sustainability report.  On campus, Dr. Correll teaches SCM.260, Logistics Systems, which acquaints students with the fundamental analytic tools, approaches, and techniques used in the design of integrated supply chains and is a Course Lead in the MITx MicroMaster’s in Supply Chain Management program.
