Event Registration - Supply Chain Risk Management Disaster Simulation (002).jpg
Thursday, November 19, 2020
10:00 AM - 3:00 PM Central Standard Time
Disasters can be overwhelming if your business isn’t prepared. Join Rick Blasgen, President and CEO of CSCMP, and Kathy Fulton, Executive Director of the American Logistics Aid Network (ALAN), for a virtual interactive, game-based session in which you’ll play the role of an organization working hard to deliver food, water, and medicine to a community following a disruptive event.  Race the clock to keep supplies moving and experience what it’s like to confront many of the frustrating challenges that are common after disasters.  You’ll come away with a better understanding of how you and your business can improve outcomes for disaster survivors. Bring your smart phone or tablet to play along! 15% of all registration fees will be donated to ALAN - The American Logistics Aid Network.  ALAN is an industry-wide organization that exists to provide supply chain assistance to disaster relief organizations (and other non-profits). They do this by bringing the expertise and resources of the logistics industry together with non-profit disaster relief organizations so that ALAN can help solve their most pressing supply chain challenges immediately after disasters strike.   That way, help – and hope – arrive sooner.  For more information about ALAN and how you can contribute, visit **Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received by November 12, 2020 11:59 PM CST will be 100% refunded.  No cancellations will be refunded after November 12, 2020.  Any cancellation of travel is the sole responsibility of the registrant.  Please contact us at [email protected] if you have any questions.**
